What does it look like to consign with Sharing Sunshine?

We would love to work with you to sell your gently used, high end children’s clothing! We do the work to prep the clothes (steaming, pictures, etc), price the items competitively and list them on our site. After an item sells, you will be paid monthly via Venmo for your percentage of the sale. As a consigner you will earn 40% of the sales price. We would love to provide all of the details regarding item pick up, sales, unsold items and other details. How is shipping determined?

We work to keep shipping costs as low as possible. We offer a flat shipping rate of $5.95, which is consistent with other retailers. If your purchase is over $100, shipping is free!

How does porch drop off work?

• If you live in the Kansas City area, within a 5 mile radius from Prairie Village, Kansas, you can chose “porch drop off” at check out for free delivery on the first or third Monday of month. This date may change slightly based on holidays, but we will post updates on instagram of these changes

• If you live outside of 5 miles, but still in the area and would like to pick up your purchase, you can chose “porch pick up” at check out! Let us know when you want to pick up (ideally 24 hours before pick up) and we will have items out and ready in our pick up bin!

• Still want porch drop off outside the 5 mile radius? Please contact us and we will do all we can to accommodate with an additional rush fee!

Do you take returns?

We do our very best to select only high end children’s clothing, in excellent condition, gently used, or new with or without tags. Items that have imperfections are listed as such and with an additional discount in the price. Therefore, all sales are final. If you have any concerns regarding your items, please reach out within 48 hours of receiving the items. We would love the opportunity to make things right!

What items do we accept?

Sharing sunshine is focused on providing families with gently used high end or boutique children’s clothing. Clothing should be in excellent condition, without stains or holes. We also accept clothing that is new without tags or new with tags. Currently we are focused on items for both boys and girls, sizes newborn to 16. We also accept shoes, but no other accessories at this time. We will accept items from all seasons. After items are received, we will process and determine what is a good fit for sale on Sharing Sunshine. If items are not accepted, you are welcome to pick up your items or we can take care of donating to a local Kansas City children’s organization.
